Waltham, MA: about 2000, so I read. City of 60k, and many probably went to Boston instead. Well-run and joyous!
Oh we wondered if you used clickers! I have seen the one Counting Guy seemingly counting in his head!
Hell yeah.
In one fell swoop, the resistance has completely reclaimed the frog 🐸 from the 4chan dipshits. A win for everyone. #amphibians #resist

Y’all here is a fun fact: Portland has a brand new volunteer organization called “operation inflation” that allows people to borrow inflatable costumes for protests. They just started a couple weeks ago and have like a 160 costume library (and counting because people keep donating).

Just when I’m on the verge of giving up on humanity, people have the nerve to go out there and be creative, funny, brave, and beautiful.

Many here in Waltham, MA are asking, Why did the chicken cross the road? TO SAVE DEMOCRACY...
Just saw the count from Waltham: around 2k. Lex had two protest sites. And so on!
That’s about what I figured, too!
Fantastic job, all of you! I always feel safe to just be joyful!

Our federal tax dollars are being used to fund a network of government social media accounts that pump out disinformation 24/7. Even during a government shutdown. It’s definitely not essential work.

Michelle Wu’s address at No Kings was basically “We are actually awesome, cities like this and LA and Chicago are what make America great and that bothers some people” lol
Powerful.
I was standing next to a man so old his skin was translucent. At various points during the speeches, he screams No Kings with a fury so righteous it was like he remembered the revolution.

When David Blight said let them know you as an enemy, he shook with emotion. That’s gotta mean something.

Almost missed my flight to yell at Ted Cruz who was holding a press conference next to the security line at the Houston airport. Almost every single TSA agent thanked me for calling him out on his BS lies. They know Rep's are responsible for the government shutdown

it is far better to be in a country with a mass visible protest movement than one without it

It’s so funny that for the past week republicans have all been like “the only people out there are gonna be Hamas.” Everyone in this crowd is signed up for Kohl’s rewards points.

this was my experience in Boston today. Much of the saltiest, most aggressive messaging was on signs carried by folks my parents’ age.
every smug internet communist tweet about showing up to a No Kings protest with an abolish ICE shirt to scare the libs is getting completely mogged by the real-life winemoms showing up with slogans like "ICE will melt in hell"
