Everything NBA, some sad Hornets, a smattering of other stuff. Same Statcenter but with a bigger wingspan.
Knicks were dominant inside the arc - finish 44/64 (69%) on 2PA. Zero blocks from WCJ + Banchero.

Jonas Valančiūnas currently has the 2nd-highest usage of his career, and 61% TS to go with it. What a luxury to have this guy backing up the best big in the game.

A good reminder that NBA players are not quite like us
Growing up with an older sibling who eventually becomes an NBA champion is weird cuz when you’re kids you do not know that your butthead older brother is on a path to become a goddamn NBA player. Thought there was something wrong with me cuz I didn’t enjoy working like him at basketball.

Hey! Last Night In Basketball got a nice little redesign and looks, I think, very cool now.

Another thing that would be very cool is if you — yes, you — subscribed to the site and newsletter to get access to my writing and other cool stuff: www.lastnightinbasketball.com/#/portal/sub...

My favorite article of this NBA season so far. Breaking the long-held connection between offensive rebounding and not getting back on defense has changed the game overnight.
Offensive rebounding is back — which represents more than just a change in style.

It’s a statistical revolution.

Amen Thompson is out-dunking all non-bigs in the NBA this season

Also, you think Peyton Watson likes playing with Jokic?

I'm generally a "let 'em cook" guy when it comes to dribbling, but this is preposterous.

PS - Suns won this game by 3. A travel call here might've changed the end of the game!

In his rookie season, Trey Murphy shot 42% on 2PA.

In the 3+ seasons since: 59% on twos
Fun Trey Murphy stat that I think is emblematic of both the offensive change and who he is playing with: Trey is up to 39 dunks on the season already, surpassing the 38 he registered in 2023-24 despite playing half the minutes:

About time Jokic stopped hogging all the awards, what a terrible teammate
Jamal Murray’s Player of the Week award is the first individual honor for a Nugget not named Nikola Jokic, in a league-wide eligible category, since Paul Millsap won Player of the Week in 2018.

Just so you know.

Losing sucks, man. The Jazz can't defend without Kessler, and their offense leads the NBA in to's.

Let's put this another way:

Say the Thunder lose a game. (Roll with me here.)

Since the start of the last season, after that loss, OKC is *as likely to* lose the next game as they are to win the next 15 games.

And, uh, they are currently in line for the Nos. 5, 8 and 17 picks in the draft.
OKC needs to go 50-8 the rest of the way to tie GSW's regular season wins record. Seems like a tall order.

And yet: the Thunder are 52-6 in their last 58 games and have as many 15-game win streaks since the start of last season as they have 2-game losing streaks. www.teamziller.com/oklahoma-cit...

Shai really has NBA legends big upping him for just being cool! But I love this question from Udonis Haslem as well.

Shai is using double teams to attack the sideline and create advantages for himself. He breaks that down in depth here-after he tells UD to chill for giving away the scout 😂 #NBASky
