The Trump administration is offering $60K in student loan forgiveness as a recruitment tool for ICE, which just proves fighting Biden on student loan relief was never about the loans or “paying your own debt.” It was about who was offering it and who it would’ve helped.

I've been seeing a lot of really established, presumably millionaire celebrities taking the sort of advertising gigs that would've been beneath them five years ago, and I think they've been told to shore up as much money as possible to get them through what's about to hit.

A man was just chased and arrested outside of the Broadview ICE facility in Chicago. When legal observers from the National Lawyers Guild asked why, an agent threatened to arrest them too.

Thinking about this again: it dovetails really nicely with Hailee Steinfeld's character. She made a conscious choice to embrace her Blackness, but her ability to code-switch meant she was sent out to talk to the white people, and then they sent her back in to turn others.
