When I got the contract to write a history of concentration camps in 2014, I hoped to keep the US from ending up here. That didn't work out! But now it's critical to understand how much is already in process and the enormity of what's coming. The sooner we act to stop it, the more people we'll save.

This is the second time an ICE employee has been arrested in in a Bloomington, MN underage sex trafficking sting www.cbsnews.com/minnesota/ne...
Police in Bloomington, MN just announced that one of the guys they arrested in an underage sex trafficking sting was a **background checker for ICE agents.**

He had a high security clearance in the Trump administration... and he was caught trying to abuse children. Sickening.

Here's what DHS doesn't want you to know: Working for ICE is one of the safest jobs in America — and last year was the second-safest year for the agency on record.

And the doxxing? It hasn't actually happened even once.

The masks are justified by a lie. www.doomsdayscenario.co/p/ice-s-mask...

My father’s company helped build the Newtown Creek Wastewater Treatment Plant and he’d turn over in his grave if this were to happen. Plus, a cleaning wastewater is the opposite of what Trump does.
If they’re going to name a NY landmark after Trump, how about the Newtown Creek Wastewater Treatment Plant, the largest sewage treatment facility in NYC, in Brooklyn?

As for the D.C. area: Perhaps the Fort Totten Solid Waste Disposal facility, in northeast D.C.?

This cannot be something a civilian law enforcement agent is allowed to wear in the US — and an agency that has a culture that tolerates this cannot be saved.

The Trump administration is ending Temporary Protected Status for roughly 350,000 Haitians. The aging care industry is expected to lose many workers as a result.

Elizabeth Trovall reports from a senior community in Florida where 26 staff members are set to lose their work permits.

The only synagogue in Jackson, MS burned last night. It was arson. They've been here before--they were attacked by the KKK because the rabbi spoke in favor of civil rights.

They have no usable torah for services, all burned. Torahs are handmade! If you can donate a bit this week, here's a spot.
For anyone else reading this, feeling helpless, and wondering what they can do: the synagogue has a donation form and I've donated with a note that it's for fire recovery immediate expenses. www.bethisraelms.org

Whitaker's prior experience with diplomacy consists of promoting a line of "urinals for well-endowed men" which the DOJ suspected was a fraud scheme. As ambassador he has specialized in not attending or participating in NATO meetings, like those convened after the last wave of Russian drone attacks.
