One amazing thing about 2025 is that, if you start up an Apple product, it forces you to choose between _three different_ window mangers, but if you start up a clean install of a current version of Linux, it just chooses good defaults for you.

I've been working on a new Vulkan renderer for StereoKit! Just over two weeks in, and I've amassed a nice collection of little feature demos :)
Instancing, single pass rendering, stencils, compute, 3D textures, mips, cubemaps, threaded upload, and a whole bunch more. Can't wait to get this into SK!

today's gpus are getting pretty terrifyingly powerful, but fret not, we have methods to keep them in check. by using a javascript api wrapping a browser's internal api wrapping a vendor's api wrapping the actual hardware api, you can set your performance back by ~2 hardware generations

back in the day gifs like this were reserved for linux users installing a web browser, how the tables have turned
to play the Xbox version of HALO INFINITE on my $1,000 xbox ally x, i just had verify, repair files, end task for Xbox, uninstall Gaming Services, reupdate the Xbox app in the Microsoft store, update Visual C++ redistributables, reinstall Gaming Services and restart. just like a console on Xmas day!

Been working on converting my eurobeat CD’s to minidisc so i can finally start utilizing my FH-P66’s MD player! The CD pickup in this car tends to get overwhelmed by heavy lateral G’s, so I haven’t been able to enjoy my physical SEB mixes until now. Hurray for magneto shock absorption technology!
