Every day is a battle between:

Be kind and compassionate, have empathy for others, give them the benefit of the doubt

or

Fuck you for being so fucking stupid, mean, & shitty

Like if you're a former Republican/MAGA, man I really want you on our side and thanks for waking up but also FUUUUCK...
My favorite reactionary Bluesky thing is whenever a celeb has a bad take, everyone comes out of the woodwork to say how that person sucks and is overrated and how they dislike them to try and get head pats in a pile on

Like talented people can't just have a bad take and still be talented lol

Just a quick note that the Women's Institute has accepted trans members for the past 60 years and in all that time has not had one single incident with any of them.

Peacefully coexisting for decades without any problems until transphobic garbage came in and forced them out.

Fuck the UK.
Women’s Institute will no longer accept trans women as members from April

Ahahaha yeah, Cory Booker's "hard liberalism" of putting on a meaningless show of talking for hours and then sitting down and happily voting with the fascists just minutes later is exactly what we need lol

Because all censorship sucks shit and letting corporations decide what art we can and cannot see is bad. Hope that helps.
Horses shows "abuse, gory imagery (mutilation, blood), depictions of slavery, physical and psychological torture, domestic abuse, sexual assault, suicide"

It also implies someone is r*ped until they die. It's implied someone comitts necrophillia on the corpse.

Why are we mad about this ban?

Just FYI, this criminal piece of shit is who the DNC held multiple fundraisers and flew in countless people to support because he was losing to progressive challenger Jessica Cisneros

They continue to give him (an openly anti-abortion and anti-trans Democrat) the full support of the party
🧵Another Trump pardon today.

Bribery, corruption, and money laundering are top qualities for Trump.

Only second to pedophilia.

Trump is welcoming criminals at a rate never before seen in the history of the world.

Fuck these Nazi goons

Rarely would a video be made better by someone in it being pushed into traffic, but this is one of those videos
Agents in Key Largo, Florida ripped this woman wearing medical scrubs out of her car as she screamed she is a US citizen. Agents cuffed her and put her in one of their cars.

She was eventually let go, per David Goodhue of the Miami Herald, who also took this footage:

Quick reminder that Cuellar is still being given support from Dems as well as a seat on the House Appropriations Committee by them.

Despite him being an anti-abortion anti-trans criminal piece of shit that, in taking this pardon, is pleading guilty to bribery, money laundering, and conspiracy.
Trump announces a pardon of Henry Cuellar: "I am hereby announcing my full and unconditional PARDON of beloved Texas Congressman Henry Cuellar, and Imelda. Henry, I don’t know you, but you can sleep well tonight — Your nightmare is finally over!"

Every dollar JK Rowling makes from Harry Potter is going into bankrolling an extortion racket issuing legal threats to organizations across the UK to purge themselves of trans people or face ruinous lawfare.
i hope every single person who still buys harry potter merch or engages with that franchise is happy that they're literally making girl guides cry

girl guides uk have been forced very much against their will to exclude trans girls. full statement is here: www.girlguiding.org.uk/information-...

No, you can’t tell who is “genuinely disabled” just by looking at them or seeing them sporadically.

And if you use the term “genuinely disabled” in an attempt to segregate disabled people… please just fuck off, because you clearly don’t care about us

I know it's exhausting and soul crushing to keep watching what's happening, but we can't look away. Keep focus.

They are still killing innocent people and children and still keeping up their efforts to take the land and erase the people who were living on it.
Israel is still bombing Gaza

The press isn't covering it as much but it's still happening

You follow the orders for every single one of these illegal murders, and every person in the chain from the top to the one who pulled the trigger should go on trial for murder.
Since Admiral Bradley has a duty to follow the Constitution and the Uniform Military Code of Justice, he must testify-if subpoenaed-and state who ordered the “kill” strike

By throwing him under the bus, Karoline Leavitt just gave him incentive to cut a deal for immunity so he can do exactly that
REPORTER: Does the administration deny that that second strike happened, or did it happen and the administration denies that Hegseth gave the order?

LEAVITT: The latter. Secretary Hegseth authorized Admiral Bradley to conduct these kinetic strikes. He worked well within his authority and the law.

Interesting posts and comments.

For most people who just don't care about AI, whether art or a game or a film has AI in it doesn't matter to them. Just whether the end result is something they enjoy.

But AI haters have to bend over backwards to convince other AI haters that they aren't using AI.

Please understand that the people whose job it is to take away his car keys (and the nuclear football) so he can't hurt anyone all ganged up on the one guy who tried to actually do it and yelled at him until he stopped trying.

What if (and I'm just spitballing here) Congress did their jobs and tried to hold criminals accountable and that changed the narrative and drew attention to them?

What if they forced the GOP to publicly protect a criminal while allowing themselves to display to voters that they will seek justice?
"Oh so what are you saying? That our Congress is filled with people and they should all debate things that matter?? And then hash out their differences through this debate??"

I don't think we need to revamp our education system, we just need to give everyone a little pamphlet or something.
Yup! But you forgot the part where all you have to do is snap your fingers!

It’s soooooo easy!!!!!!

It has to be public and it has to be expedited

Even if it means spending a lot of money to hire enough lawyers and judges and investigators

A full public accounting of their crimes and of holding them accountable for those crimes

And it shouldn't wait for the next election to start, start now 1/
Biden and Garland’s biggest mistake was failing to hold those responsible for all the crimes and corruption we saw from 2015 to 2021 accountable.

The next Democratic President can’t repeat this. We need a special counsel appointed on day 1 — and tribunals setup to judge war criminals.

The discussion on the left is whether or not redistricting is crossing a line in fighting open fascism

This does not bode well for us

Then the Trump admin refused to extend his asylum and he was told that him and his family were going to be sent back to be tortured to death by terrorists

Wonder what his motive was...

We do desperately need regulation on AI

But all the people who should be pushing that regulation are on Bsky telling each other that AI is useless and a fad

And they think saying that they won't be using it personally or mocking those that do is going to somehow fix the problem
