I think this bag is fake.

Hermes's flagship products are handsewn using a saddle stitch. A worker marks the leather using an awl and then threads two needles through from both sides.

This results in a tight stitch with no holes between the stitches. The holes here suggest the bag was machine sewn.

When I see people have conversations with AI about their lives I think about that episode of law and order with the kids subjected to the buzzbox and that woman who discovered that she’d been having conversations with herself with her son’s “directed communication” via typing

People tell me it’s brutal that we let go of 25 people and replaced their role with AI.

It was brutal on me and brutal they pushed back on using AI to do their job better and faster for the business.

The more people I speak with offline the more they share that they are facing an exegetical AI crisis (20 year olds to 65+)

On the other hand there are thousands of people going to brick and mortar businesses, finding a repeatable tasks they can automate or use AI tech to replace that single function and paying thousands of dollars for that one solution.

I share this becuase people try to reinvent their entire company with AI overnight, don’t do that, focus on one task at a time, your effort will compound.

If you have questions on how to identify what to do first try this:

On a scale of 1-10, what is a level 1 of effort to complete a task that will move the business forward?

And on a scale of 1-10, what has a level 10 impact on moving the business forward?

Start with a level 1 effort and 10 impact and then work backwards from there.

If you’re looking to move your business forward, grow revenue, increase profit margins, or prep your business to be exit ready, DM me or comment “level 10. “

AUBREY: Casey and I saw this white space in the streaming landscape of people not making network-style shows with 15+ episodes that return annually. And both of those are very important factors, because one, with 15 episodes, you really give people an opportunity to sink into a world. It’s one of the reasons why certain older shows, people binge them like crazy, because they’re able to watch more than eight episodes every two years.
