Just an average middle-aged bloke. Into video games old and new. Left wing politics. Love stand-up comedy, but probably not the one you like. Will watch almost any sport that can be televised. Big motor racing fan, esp endurance/GT racing.
An excellent piece, with first-hand experience and sources. The sort of things experienced journalists do.
Tim Davie may have gone, but the real rot still exists - Robbie Gibb and his cohorts. A highly articulate takedown.
Bravo, Lewis.

The reaction to the Panorama edit has been nothing short of hysterical. Yes the BBC has some impartiality problems. But its biggest isn't the one you think.

Every company website is so desperate. You're on their page for five seconds and they want to send you notifications for the rest of your life. It's like if you asked somebody at an airport how to get to Terminal D and they told you, then got down on one knee and proposed.

Honestly, every company who started advertising their Christmas food already can get fucked. It's not snowing, there's no carollers at my door, no-one's buying their turkey and stuffing yet. Get a grip.
I'm already sick of Dawn French. And in general I like Dawn French. That's how annoying it is.

Exploded? Don't you mean "fell apart"? Being able to smell mustard and onions is so clearly an assault. There must be a conviction on the horizon 🙄
Border Patrol agent Lairmore testifies that he was not injured by the sandwich, but he felt the impact through his ballistic vest.
The sandwich came apart and "kind of exploded" on his chest upon impact, he says.

At this point, every single journalist needs to have a simple one-sheet of the major news events that Mike Johnson and his toadies claim to have not seen, or know nothing about.
Like, hand it to them. "Okay, here. Take your time. I can wait." Call their bluff, ffs. This is absurd.

Musk's UK/European executives should be in parliament tomorrow explaining this. Inciting racial hatred is a crime. And they should be prevented from making any revenue while they continue to do this.
And FFS government agencies should not be giving it any legitimacy by posting there any more.

"Reeves to ban luxury cars for benefit claimants"
1. It doesn't cost the taxpayer more.
2. The reason disabled people need the "perk" of a replacement car is because without a car they are unable to do the things an able person can walk to/get the bus/train to.

I doubt that'll happen - as I've said before, us trans folks are often considered an acceptable loss - but one can hope.
