He was the one columnist I never read when I was a subscriber. Even George Will could have a good idea once in a while, but Theissen was a brainless conservatroll. I miss the old Washington Post, but not the one that exists today, a shattered husk of the paper it was.

Skip the Intrepid. If you want to shoot 4x5, find a Speed Graphic. I have an Intrepid, and while I have a ton of respect for them, I never use the camera and have converted it into an enlarger. Speed Graphics are a lot harder to resist using.

This place is a typographic nightmare. A sign on the roof says “Kohr’s The Original Since 1919” attached to a two scoop ice cream cone. The face of the building facing the boardwalk says the following: “Coca Cola enjoy summer Frozen Custard and Ice Cream Kohr’s The Original Since 1919 P J’s Place Seaside Heights NJ Coca Cola enjoy summer Kohr’s The Original Since 1919 Kohr’s The Original Since 1919 Coca Cola Coca Cola.” The side of the building is similarly festooned, but you really don’t want me to write all that crap down here.
