1. Costco at 12:15 the Monday before thanksgiving. Every thing I needed was in stock, every register open. Checkout time: 11 min.

2. Target at 12:40. One item out of stock, one without enough qty. Checkout time: 2 min.

Customers accept inconvenience when they know a retailer makes an effort.

Extreme wealth allows people to live in such a way that they only ever have to interact with others who cater to them.

That kind of king-of-my-castle existence breeds a sense of entitlement that quickly turns to hostility when wealthy people face even the slightest of pushback.

Posting ghost jobs should be illegal. If companies do this to harvest consumer data or create the appearance that they are “always hiring” to appease investors, how is this just not fraud? Is there a meaningful legislative remedy for this?

You just summed up Hungary under Orbán.

By 2024, despite "Hungary is family-friendly" billboard campaigns, more kids were born to Hungarian parents abroad than within its borders.

Ofc, "the main purpose in a woman's life is kids, now with tax breaks.🙄
