The aurora seems to be restrengthening as the Bz moves closer to zero. Some energy is already returning to the aurora through the By component. Mid-latitude auroral displays may strengthen if the Bz trend continues into the negatives!

It's funny to me that there is one 2028 candidate (Josh Shapiro) that is attempting to really distance himself from Biden/Harris, and he's trying to do it on an issue that the overwhelming majority of Democrats are against him on. Not good political instincts IMO.
A Quinnipiac poll that was ran in August of 2025 found that 77% of all Democrats believe Israel has committed genocide and that 75% of all Democrats wanted military assistance that could be used in Gaza to be cut off
