Tråd om hvorfor kromosomer er en dårlig måde at vurdere køn på og hvorfor vi bør lytte til folk, når de erklære de har problemer med at identificere sig med deres krop og dens køn. Vi mennesker er meget kompliceret og vi lærer stadig at vi har langt endnu for fuldt at forstå vores egen biologi.

In 1890, the X and Y chromosomes were discovered. It was found that the men who were tested had 46 chromosomes, including an X and a Y, while women who were tested also had 46 chromosomes, including 2 X chromosomes.
So obviously the conclusion was that the Y chromosome defined masculinity.
