The only way through all of this is forward. Get involved, organize your friends, hold elected officials accountable. Don’t tell me all is lost. Only the end of the world is the end of the world. Until then, the future is ours to make what we want. How hard are you willing to work?
Elon Musk and Donald Trump think they can rule this country like kings.

House Republicans think they can steal from working families to fund billionaire tax cuts.

They all think we'll sit back and let them get away with it.

They are dead wrong: indivisibleproject.formstack.com/forms/organi...

"Experts on the formation of internal security services in authoritarian regimes point to a sense of impunity as a warning sign. Regime officials abuse their power when they know they will be protected, and even praised, for doing so."

Very clarifying.
New, from me: Defenders of police abuses will sometimes talk about “bad apples” spoiling the barrel.

This is the wrong metaphor for ICE and CBP. The barrel itself is rotten. 🧵

We are embarking on an uncontrolled, worldwide economic experiment because a madman was elected president. This will not end well for the US or the world. If anyone tries to tell you that this will all work out just fine is either lying or ignorant of global economics.
If the world is truly “de-risking” and moving away from investing in Trump’s America we are headed towards an economic calamity in the US. 4/

India’s holdings of US Treasury bonds have fallen to a 5-year low as the nation pushes to support its currency and diversify its reserves.

If you've never flown in and out of Lindbergh, you probably don't appreciate how big of a terminal it is: A major delta hub and a fairly significant international port. This is a LOT of people covering a LOT of ground.
There is a picket line the entire length of the departures terminal.

This doesn’t stop us in Minnesota. Why would you think that ICE would? We may be scared from time to time, but we will not give in. We will prevail.

Vance is going to the Northern Front to give encouragement to Bovino's stormtroopers as they continue their derided and reviled special military operation to pacify the Twin Cities. But like the Wehrmacht in Russia and the Russian Army in Ukraine, they are doomed to fail.
JD Vance: "I'm headed to Minneapolis where we're gonna talk with ICE agents and local officials about how we turn down the chaos. My simple piece of advice to them is going to be if you want to turn down the chaos in Minneapolis, stop fighting immigration enforcement."

-18 on the economy
-19 on foreign relations
-29 on the cost of living
-44 on the Epstein files

This is absolutely what struck me as a parent of young kids. There's so much love invested into each of these little things, and here it's just ripped away.
Liam’s mom dressed him in all those layers to keep her little boy warm and safe in this frigid weather, packed his book-bag w/ everything he’d need for a good day at school, and then our govt stole him out of their driveway. Used her little boy as bait. These people are monsters.

Three agents already had the man pinned to the ground when a fourth agent walked up and sprayed the irritants.

I try to avoid hyperbole when it comes to Trump policies, but this is absolutely frickin’ insane—on about eleventy different levels.

Massive, systemic Fourth Amendment violations because … reasons.
ICE secretly told its officers that any time someone has been ordered removed, ICE can break down their door.

It has been accepted for generations that the only thing which can authorize agents to break into your home is a warrant signed by a judge. No wonder ICE hid this memo!
