Having attended 'a few' pub quizzes over a number of tears, and having written and ran them during student days, this properly irks me.
It's a pub quiz. It's FUN, and should be kept as such in the spirit of a social event. Yes, a competitive edge is nice, but DON'T BLOODY CHEAT.

Just watched 60 Years of Thunderbirds, a series of short interviews by Scarlett Moffatt with people associated with Gerry Anderson. She’s a typical celebrity airhead, but was actually quite engaging as she had grown up watching Thunderbirds when it was shown in the early 90s. Knows her stuff.

I’m finally retiring next month. Been reflecting on a career lasting 47 years, the last 18 running my own training business. I’ve never been one for working long stressful hours and have been really lucky to get by with some terrific, loyal customers, associates and friends along the way.
