“ICE kidnapped a community member here,” reads one. “Never forget/no nos olvidamos,” says another.

The signs have appeared across some of D.C.’s heavily immigrant neighborhoods where federal immigration arrests have escalated.
Signs popping up around D.C. note: ‘ICE kidnapping happened here’
The signs range in style and mark numerous locations where people have been taken by federal agents.

Obviously this is made up nonsense, but is there even a person who was arrested who they’re claiming was Antifa’s girlfriend? Or…?

I’m finally watching Kwaidan and it’s breathtaking. The backdrop sky paintings in this second story “The Woman in the Snow” are so incredibly beautiful, I’m having a little trouble focusing on the subtitles
a snowy river bank with a man standing on a short pier. there are trees covered in snow on either side and a break in the trees reveals a mottled red and white painted sky a swirling inky blue sky with a pale yellow moon floating behind obscuring clouds. Below is a snowy landscape with barren, snow covered trees an extremely wide shot of a landscape framed by trees. In the far distance along the horizon stands a person. The sky behind is a blend of apricot oranges and blush pinks. There is a purple and darker pink streak running horizontally through the sky and just above it, a deep pink smudge that looks like a pair of lips a similar night scene to the previous one. A snowy landscape with dead trees, and the night sky is filled with swirling pale green forms that look like human eyes formed out of aurora borealis lights

Tragic news from Canada where the Canadian Supreme Court has gone from the official dress on the left to the one on the right

The Oregon Republican Party tried to help Donald Trump make the case for military intervention in Portland with an image of a fiery protest — but since Portland is calm, they had to fabricate one by merging old photos of police in Ecuador and protesters in Brazil www.theguardian.com/us-news/2025...

they’re illegally sending troops from more and more states to occupy my fucking city because a bunch of shitass ICE chumps can’t tolerate a person in an inflatable frog costume legally gyrating at them in front of a single building they lease from us, keep it fucking shut down, fuck these people
gravitysra1nbow.bsky.social
Okay. Well, if Trump is going to attempt legal end-arounds like federalizing the NG of GOP states to send them to Dem states over the objections of governors and courts, I think the Democrats should just keep the federal government shut down indefinitely.

The Oregon Republican Party takes a stand on the side of an Infowars “journalist” and against the Portland police.

PRESS RELEASE:
Oregon Republican Party Condemns Arrest of Journalist Nick Sortor and Calls for Unified Leadership to Restore Order in Portland
The Oregon Republican Party condemns the arrest of independent journalist Nick Sortor in Portland last night. Although Mr. Sortor has since been released, the irony that he was taken into custody while aggressive demonstrators attacking journalists continue to wreak nightly havoc with impunity, highlights how far Oregon's largest city has fallen.
Rather than focusing on combating violent crime, drug trafficking, carjackings, vandalism, and rioting, police arrested an independent journalist inconveniently making it more difficult to continue the lie that Portland is a peaceful city. Arresting journalists is an affront to democracy typically reserved for the worst banana republics and dictatorships. It's sad but not shocking to see the radical left leaders in Portland decide to join that club.
We support President Donald J. Trump and Assistant Attorney General Harmeet Dhillon in their efforts to spotlight Oregon's plight and to intervene. President Trump and U.S. Secretary of War Pete Hegseth's deployment of federal resources-including the National Guard—is a necessary step in reasserting the rule of law over anarchy.
To the leaders of Portland and of Oregon: Partner with our national leaders in the effort to restore peace. Stand with law-abiding citizens. Stop prioritizing the demands of a chaotic, extremist fringe that terrorizes neighborhoods and intimidates voices of truth. Oregonians deserve better.

It was very telling that for three days, none of the major TV anchors would have me on air one-on-one to talk about my firing from the Washington Post over Charlie Kirk.

The first offers were from
Black media, independent media, Substackers, and podcasters.

a key reason they see an opening for such a blatant speech crackdown is that they already did one to Palestinian and anti-genocide activists and it got enthusiastic bipartisan approval
