I literally saw a post two weeks back in which a guy with two jobs was flagellating himself because he was short on rent, lamenting that had he donated plasma more, maybe his rent would be on time. I think it was @tressiemcphd.bsky.social who was insistent that we decouple our online work lives from our online personal lives and here's data point one million supporting that theory. A lot of people can't ditch google for work functionality, but separating out personal accounts gives you options

Bad Habit the US “Healthcare” System Left Me With #378: Not testing needles.

You are supposed to test each needle before dosing, to make sure it’s working/the meds are flowing. I almost never do this.

Why? Because the US is SO EXPENSIVE and each test “wastes” a unit of insulin.
