The chimney on my house isn't attached is just a big stack of bricks with rotted out mortar. The roof guy called it "extremely dangerous". Its only use is as a vent for the furnace, so maybe we can take it down and replace with a standpipe or something?

I am feeling kind of depressed - can someone send me a link to a good BJYX or The Untamed fic? No ABO or MPREG please, I am a pervert, just not that kind of pervert.

Anyone looking for ETU2 eps 1 & 2? Can't vouch for quality or subtitles, but I can share Google drive links for your personal viewing only. Files won't be up for long.

I am kind of enjoying watching Exploring the Unknown 2 in two or three minute, out of order, segments. It isn't like there is a story. Just Yibo, in monument valley, climbing a rock. He seems to be having the time of his life.

#WaysToHelp I found a page with a list of book drives for various reservation schools and other needs. You order the book and have it shipped to the school/site. I used my favorite, @roomofonesownbooks.bsky.social, but bookshop.org has free shipping today, you could take advantage of that!

Whoa. The Exquisite Creatures exhibit is amazing. This photo is one tiny corner of one shadow box.

Today I am taking a ferry to downtown, going to an exhibit by artist Chris Marley called "exquisite creatures", and then having a stroll down the Seattle waterfront, just to enjoy being in the world.

I have no idea how or when I will be able to see Exploring the Unknown 2 because I live in the US. but I am deeply thankful to everyone who has been posting the previews, interviews, etc. Hopefully the show will be available via Youtube at some point.

Aztec Batman seems like a good choice for Thanksgiving - can't wait to see Hernan Cortez get punched in the face a million times.

I am jumping back in to Fangs for Fortune - I am in episode 11. Episodes 1-10 are vague memories at best. Why are there so many characters? What is the Baize token?

What if the true meaning of Christmas is supporting small businesses so the oligarchs have a very shitty season?

This whole ‘cutting through the palm of the hand to draw blood’ idiocy needs to be killed with fire, and the ashes stomped on and ground into nothingness.

Do script writers not have even a passing acquaintance with basic anatomy?

We need to bring video stores back. The world was a better place when 9 year old Beth could rent Hellraiser from the guy at the corner store who didn’t bat an eye.

My 3 day mini vacation in Hollywood has been fun. I went to so many vintage stores, overheard a wannabe screenwriter praising chatGPT, saw a comedy show, and got to have lunch with Mr. wilde. During lunch a tiny Pomeranian dog came over and snuggled up to me.

I took the dog for a long nature hike earlier today. Both the dog and I have learned that we are no longer young enough to hop over a fallen log with any semblance of grace.

Casual reminder that the myth of “pulling yourself up by your bootstraps” is a cruel hoax designed to convince poor people from all walks of life that the injustices they face are a result of their own actions, rather than an oppressive system rigged against them.

IMO The Bechdel Test is a silly, reductive thing that even Allison Bechdel herself has said as much. Folks treat it with far more gravity and weight than it deserves.
