It’s broadcasting across the ship’s speakers! PANEL 2: The EMPEROR runs at full sprint to he computer desk, splattered with blood, and the body of a pilot slung across the top. TESSKAN (via loudspeaker): See, we gotta take Tierra down a peg or two. FINISH WHAT OUR GRANDPAPPIES STARTED IN THE WAR. N’fact, we gonna hit ‘nuther one a’ their pretty cities right now. Emperor: no no no no no no…. PANEL 3: The EMPEROR shoves the body of the pilot our of the way so he can attempt to turn off the loudspeaker. TESSKAN (via loudspeaker): SO TAKE THAT SHIP, VOSS! Then we figger out how take on Tierra TOGETHER! EMPEROR: No no NO… where’s the button? Where’s the button? Sound effect: clik clik clik PANEL 4: From behind, the EMPEROR types at the computer screen. TESSKAN (via loudspeaker): Voss? You hearin’ me…? You hear what I said about the— Sound Effect: BEEP Emperor: OH THANK GOD. PANEL 5: Close up on the EMPEROR looks over his shoulder. EMPEROR: M… maybe i liked out…? Maybe my Tesskans couldn’t hear that in the shuttle…? PANEL 6: The EMPEROR grabs the nose of his bridge in relief, right as a large fist punches and dents the locked door behind him.
