I mean, I'm Catholic and I went to public school, but I still remember reading his biography in the school library about how observant he was of his faith. (I also remember Don Drysdale starting for him and getting SHELLED, and saying to the manager, "Bet you wish I was Jewish today too, huh?")

He was out again after putting the paper to bed, AT THE SAME BAR, and someone called and said he had to come back and redo the front because the pope died ... and he hung up because he though he was messing with him!
