Python was awarded a funding grant, funding grant asked Python foundation to remove all diversity and inclusion initiatives they have.

Python foundation said no and rejected the grant.

I honestly do not believe this was on his radar even six months ago. He has zero activist or organizing experience in Maine - not so much as an op ed. Someone found him, recruited him, and built a whole organization to promote him from day one, and the big question is -- who did that? Who paid?

the multi year primary plus campaign cycle sucks for myriad reasons, but one of the few positives that comes out of it is that it gives a lot of time for scandalous stuff about the candidate to come out, allowing us to see how they and their operation function under stressful/difficult circumstances

The real mystery is how on earth this guy got together a credible senate campaign with hot and cold running consultants and a fully-staffed organization. He‘s never held elected office, he’s not some kind of internet celebrity, he doesn’t seem to have been involved in previous election campaigns
