We saw Josh last night sharing some new material and it made my wife want to go back and watch his last special for the first time. Highly recommend you do the same!
My new standup special Positive Reinforcement premieres TONIGHT at 8pm eastern time on Blonde Medicine’s YouTube channel. I’m really proud of this hour and grateful to all the people who helped make the special happen.

My wife when I told her we were going to see @joshgondelman.bsky.social live tomorrow night and described him simply as a “funny, Jewish guy from Boston.”

lol it’s so genuinely fun seeing Cory take decades of fluency in how these systems are broken and serve it up for a mainstream audiences. Even if you know “enshittification” well, this is worth the watch. And love to @eff.org! youtu.be/d2e-c9SF5nE

Criiiiiipes, the back-to-back-to-back gauntlet rooms getting to the Heart of Might boss in Silksong’s Act 3 are absolutely brutal. They make the High Halls gauntlet look like a picnic. This might be the thing that finally ends it for me…

One Battle After Another and Sinners both lay out a formula for cinema success: diverse movies where white nationalists get duffed in the most graphic way possible shot and presented in increasingly baroque high resolution formats.

This is a really excellent article by @papapishu.bsky.social, both about Silksong as a game and about the nature of how players endure and embrace punishment (though I consider myself a “game sicko” because I’m a “game pervert” who is also driven by getting achievements in punishing games).

Are you or someone you know skipping GDC (or considering doing so) because of worries about coming to the US/San Francisco in the current environment?

If so, I want to hear from you for a piece. DM me here or kyle DOT orland AT arstechnica DOT com.

Please spread the word

The First Sinner might be my favorite Silksong boss yet. Varied moveset that never felt cheap, beautiful aesthetic, and, best of all, no runback after a loss. Got better and better every battle until I finally beat her while barely getting hit.

Terriers, without a doubt.
Everyone has a 1-2 season TV show they sorely miss and not enough people knew about that you are always praising the heavens about.

What's yours?

Tamoor and Jason know what’s up. Great advice for any Soulslike, including Silksong.

I’m about 10 hours into Silksong and loving it so far. Haven’t had any trouble with bosses or areas but gotDAMN the bird room in Greymoor is driving me absolutely nuts. The movement on those little bastards…

I loved this movie and I love this essay. Once again, @priscillapage.bsky.social does a bang-up job of breaking down and analyzing a movie in a way that makes you appreciate it more AND makes you want to rewatch it as soon as possible (which I am now considering doing tonight with Tenet).
in honor of the film's 5th anniversary, I thought I'd share this piece I wrote about Tenet last year
