There is a bad flavor of transhumanism that I describe as being like a criminal band of wannabe superhuman space pirates and marauders who are hellbent on staging a prison break from the human condition, and being a billionaire is a first step in what that looks like in practice.
I have not met many (3?) billionaires and they were certainly nice people but it also seems plausible that as a class billionaires simply cannot be “human” if we view material limitations as constitutive of the human condition
