I went over to a friends for thanksgiving one year and for the main meal they served ants on a log and I sat there sputtering and flapping my arms in anger until they put a bib on me to keep the drool off my onesie. naturally i find out later they’re protestants

Yesterday my partner and I counted all the ads along Chicago's Brown Line for "Friend," a company selling an AI chatbot pendant, and tallied how many of those ads were defaced.
Still working on a longer piece on this, but here's the quick and dirty: we counted 104 "Friend" ads total, 42 defaced.

first attempt at imaging andromeda. about 1 hr of combined exposure at 200mm (f/2.8) with a significant crop. thinking about using a 500mm but it's much slower at f/6.3 so idk. i also don't have a star tracker so I'm shooting 1sec exposures lol
