What does this mean for kids in college in 2026?! I don’t want a “yay”.

We’ve got an HBCU afraid to say Black in Black History. Damage is already being done. #DEI
BREAKING: The Department of Education has ended its directive that attempted to restrict diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts in schools nationwide.

This is a victory for academic freedom and education equity.

Would be great if all the colleges that proactively dismantled DEI programming would apologize.

Black women created #Metoo, got RKelly, and a host of others over ours meanwhile white women are finding out their kids got raped and eaten and they’re either shrugging or excitedly creating true crime content.

It’s by design. They were determined to stomp out BET’s influence after Obama got in the first time because young black people were becoming too informed for their liking. They placed certain people at the top and dismantled that shit from the inside.
They could be so much bigger and better. Like catering to black people with cooking shows, interior design shows, fixer upper etc. There’s a whole market they haven’t tapped into.
BETs problem is they don’t have the budget, creative vision or prestige they use to have in the early 00s and has shifted away from original content

Thank goodness he’s so ugly. The people who would normally be taken in by this rhetoric also prefer a handsome man otherwise Bannon’s scheme would work

I don’t trust Politico. I concerned they’ve essentially created a hit list 😔
NEW: Here’s our searchable list of federal judges who have ruled on the legality of ICE’s mass detention policy — with links to key decisions by each.

At least 380 district judges have rejected it in ~3,800 cases. 31 have upheld ICE’s approach ~180 times

POLITICO is keeping track of the federal judges who have ruled on the administration’s effort to systematically lock up thousands of people.

the logic of his position is that you would them abandon those issues and so on and so on until you’ve fully sacrificed a group of vulnerable americans to reactionary bullies for the sake of a percentage point (if that)
Like this. "You must strategically abandon the specific issues that the right has rendered toxic & focus on others."

But then ... why wouldn't the right just be able to do the same thing on those other issues?

Regarding my earlier post about Black people needing to meet the moment, the first step that we have to take is drawing a hard line against the grifters and scammers. I shouldn't know the names Dr Umar or Tariq Nasheed. Stephen A. Smith, Charlemagne the God and the like can't be treated seriously.

Thank you! 🙌🏽

When when folks FINALLY learn that the purpose of this crap is to suppress Democratic voter enthusiasm (aka suppress the Democratic vote)?

No one, and I mean NO ONE should be talking about ANYTHING but taking Congress back and voting Republicans out in elections across the country.
BETTER YET, LET'S GET THROUGH THE FUCKING MIDTERMS HAPPENING *THIS YEAR* BEFORE WE EVEN BEGIN TO START HAND-WRINGING OR FINGER-POINTING ABOUT WHO WE'LL NEVER VOTE FOR IN 2028.
Hey Bluesky, let’s have a frigging primary before we decide which end of the Democratic Party doesn’t vote for the other end’s candidate in the general.

Yup
Black men who don't date Black women give off a weird vibe. I can't quite put my finger on it but I have never once been wrong.
Question for my fellow kinfolk: what makes you think, “they look like they don’t date Black people” when you see a Black person?

This is prompted by a convo I’m currently having with a friend 🤔
