Bobbito Garcia was posting about this today on IG. Right on.
A Brooklyn-based collective, Artists in Resistance (A.I.R.) NYC, is not only committed to hosting COVID-safer art and music events from borough to borough, but also ensuring that anybody can do so for free.
How an Air Purifier Can Make Your Art Event Safer
The Brooklyn collective A.I.R. loans out the devices under the tenet that “illness need not be the price of living in community or participating in the arts.”

“A democracy whose citizens operate with fundamentally different understandings of the past and its implications cannot sustain itself. Americans desperately need a shared story, with all its complexities and contradictions. Without that, this American experiment, as we understand it, will end.”
Tell Students the Truth About American History
We owe it to Americans of all ages to be honest about the country’s past, including its contradictions.

More of this!!
Y’all need to learn how to 'yes AND'. There’s a lot of rejecting or dismissing facts because the framing is incorrect/immoral/trite, etc. but that’s doesn’t change the FACT. You can still use and share the FACT while altering or arguing against the framing in which said information was shared.

"Polycules can incorporate in a new corporate structure" is a platform that I feel like would poll outstandingly well on bluesky, honestly.
the aspect of marriage that is a legal status which empowers two people to act in each other’s interest is pretty great. it should be called what it actually is, “civil union”, and it should not be restricted to pairs
I want to ban marriage as an institution. Ceremonies should be allowed but there should be no benefits over other relationships and living styles for monogamous couples over everyone else

Ideally this would happen in socialism where private property isn’t a thing so that doesn’t matter either

We are a social species, and we have always prevailed through cooperation. Caring for our sick. Raising children we didn't sire or birth because they were part of our village or extended family. We are not breeders and predators, we are communicators and survivors. We evolved to UNITE.

Let's pay back her generosity with lots of holiday orders. I can personally attest that her products make EXCELLENT gifts—my mom is still using her Galaxy wrist brace something like 3 years later!
I decided to eat the costs for the transportation, duties and other fees I incurred. So I won't be raising prices. I know how hard times are right now. I want as many people to be able to afford my products.

Know this, @schumer.senate.gov — if you cave, we will not rest until you are primaried and wrested from your seat. When kids on SNAP aren’t being fed, we’re even more hungry for justice. New York has shown you the people’s power just days ago. You *could* join with us, still, and do the right thing.
