Im September 2025 steht Komponente A (Arbeitslosigkeit) bei 100,7 Punkten; Komponente B (Beschäftigung) steht bei 100,6 Punkten; das IAB-Arbeitsmarktbarometer als Mittelwert beider Komponenten steht bei 100,7 Punkten. Werte über 100 signalisieren einen positiven Ausblick, Werte unter 100 einen negativen.

There *is* a substantial "grey"/shadow economy in the UK! Up to 1 in 10 adults are estimated to participate (most on a relatively small scale).

To state the obvious, only a tiny % of this relates to irregular migrants.

Happy citizens trust their rulers. New #JOPE paper OPEN ACCESS. Citizen well-being impacts political trust, which is key to regime stability. Any government, even an authoritarian one, has an incentive to foster the happiness of its citizens.
