This seems very profound to me - as is much of what Scott Galloway has to say. I have become a fan of his.

“Economies are defined by scarcity, not abundance (scarcity = value). Today, information is abundant, attention is scarce.”

This quote is from No Mercy/No Malice.

People always suspected that the rich got favorable treatment. Can there be any question about it anymore?

This explains the root cause of so much distrust in media. Also, a lot of legacy media (newspapers) didn’t even try to adapt to the Internet, but that’s a story for another day…
Our failure as an industry to grasp how little people understood the difference between commentary and news is one of the biggest reasons trust in the industry has eroded. A network head seemingly not understanding this distinction is troubling.
News is not a “daily conversation.”

News is news.

If you want a daily conversation, go to your local coffee shop.

I can’t believe other countries, Canada included, are unable to see what China is seeing.

It seems so obvious that an economy fueled by renewable energy would offer a massive competitive advantage.

Plenty of jobs too!
"In the next five years, China plans to accelerate building a new-type energy system, one in which non-fossil sources replace fossil fuels in a secure, reliable and orderly manner."

Wonderful!!!
