So annoyed no Novavax available as my kids had no side effects at all when had in Spring.

Which would be best alternative, pfizer or moderna?

Anyone's kids had these and were they tolerated well?

Hope for anti-reservoir therapies in #longCOVID.
I am hedging my bets on us one day looking back and thinking it obvious that most #longCOVID is just chronic SARS-CoV-2 infection. Many viruses linger, causing chronic disease.

“SARS-CoV-2 is not just a virus. COVID is not just a pandemic. It’s an aperture, a breach in the fabric of our shared reality.

It makes things visible.

And once you see it — really see it — you can’t unsee anything.”

This. Once you step out of the denial bubble, you really can’t go back in:

I did a bit more digging about a recent BBC news article about how installing air quality monitors had a 'dramatic' effect on health.
It is an initiative by @sthelenscouncil (X a/c) and @WarringtonBC (X a/c) called the Healthy Air for Healthy Lungs project.
So what's it all about?...

Check out this brilliant video explainer from Bristol University which illustrates how (as well as high CO2 levels often indicating poor ventilation and higher COVID risk environment) high CO2 levels also increase the lifetime of the virus in the air.

Do you think the authorities downplaying the harms of COVID-19 amounts to a state cover-up?

Why are we not trying to reduce infections when over 3M people have long Covid in the U.K. (according to the NHS GP Survey) and COVID-19 is still causing long Covid?

They have no compassion. Dark times for the US and the rest of the world.

In the UK hundreds of thousands of people, who shielded, still are. These are the folks who are medically vulnerable our society has left behind. This government and the last never provided them with a drug to replace the Covid vaccine they couldn’t have. 🧵

I thought what Bishop Budde did was incredibly brave

She was calm, cool and collected as she spoke out on behalf of all the people whose lives are being put at risk under the Trump administration.

She did what too many won’t do… she stood up to the bully.

I hope she feels our support & gratitude
The US president just attacked a female bishop for saying Christian things in a Christian sermon, calling her a "so-called bishop", not "smart", and "not very good at her job."

And no one will blink an eye. It won't be a controversy or a big story. All normalized.

Welcome to the next 4 years.

Do not mention the words COVID, airborne or respirator this Christmas. Do not ruin the party mood.
Instead, sit quietly by and watch as everyone you know heads towards an avoidable and very early grave.

This is the way (they insist upon it).

It’s heartbreaking to see the wreckage #LongCovid is causing to people’s lives and to watch our health and care systems struggle to provide the care and support needed.
Grateful to @gwynnemp.bsky.social for a really productive discussion today. It’s filled me with hope that there are people at the top genuinely fighting for change in the care of #LongCovid and #ME.

Hoping to be part of that change, will keep you all posted 🙏🏽
