I had wondered why several prominent terfs had simultaneously turned against Jenny without any clear explanations why. Here, she talks about the LGB Alliance conspiring to smear her in order to protect a male sexual predator in their movement.

Institutional Betrayal, Part 3: Sexual Abuse by Insiders: How Institutions Protect the Predator, Not the Woman
When sexual abuse happens inside a system built on virtue, the cover-up isn’t an accident. Those meant to protect women protect themselves. This isn’t confusion, it's collusion with the predator.

You probably explain it the same way you explain Jews that worked for the Nazis.

How do people not see that the entire OU essay thing is just an attempt by this girl and the Turning Point chapter to turn her into another Riley Gaines grifting on trying to push trans people out of society?
Here's what this is actually about, dumbass

It took legal teams raising the racist texts for our media to behave in mock shock as if this wasn't entirely inevitable and they didn't know already.

Because they share an ecosystem with these anti-trans weirdos. They see them on twitter all the time. They know they say awful things constantly!
Every person who didn't fight in the corner of driving a trans doctor out of NHS Fife has to be sued. Every one of them has to be forced to kneel before the legal clout of JK Rowling and her chosen heralds.

Even if one of those heralds is one who's a fan of racist jokes mocking drowning Pakistanis.

Since the post is deleted this is all a bit second hand to me but am I to understand that the liberal position on the chancellor is this but feministly?

What do we keep saying? That the Reasonable Moderates are the midwives of fascism. And what keeps happening? The Reasonable Moderates insist on proving us right

Hardly a minute out the car park of the cinema we were just at and I asked my mother what the title of the movie we just saw was. Even I was sceptical she'd be that bad and yet.
mums love to say "i was watching this film with, who was it, what was his name"

NYT: "Why are liberal children cutting off their MAGA parents?"

MAGA parents:
On “The Necessary Conversation” podcast, Chad’s Trump supporter parents tell him the military should follow Trump’s illegal orders and kill everyone in LA if Trump commanded it — even with him and his sister in the city😳

This is what makes Alfred such a unique and innovative character, choosing to be an enabler. In a world full of no men he's brave enough to say yes.
rich dudes got freakier after butlers fell out of fashion, like say what you will about having domestic servants but clearly it was some sort of moderating force on old rich dudes having a fancy man follow you around saying shit like "oh dear sir, that wouldn't be very becoming"

These giant selfish babies are clearly still not being taxed enough
Huge respect to the papers for finding both an 88 year old worried about the tax bill on her 6 bedroom Kensington house and a 20 year old fretting about only being able to save £12k a year tax free.
Top work all around. These are not easy case studies to find.

No clue but I can say people that have never mentioned the disabled before in their lives will suddenly have some strong opinions.
what are the legal implications of throwing these into a ditch
Just as you thought food delivery companies couldn't inflict any more misery on society:

Instead of using lowly-paid gig economy contractors to deliver groceries, they're replacing humans with robots, who, in turn, force humans off the pavement into road traffic.

the 'it's inevitable' argument requires me to believe that people will see the quality of their entertainment - their circuses, if you will - massively decline while prices remain the same or even go up and just shrug, and it's like, no they won't lol
The only thing less human than these AI dub performances is the decision to sign off on them

A company this big can pay human actors a decent wage, not produce slop that intentionally removes the human element.

Does it strike anyone as weird that we have a ratings board that counts the number of times a movie says fuck or shows a boob and decides who is allowed to see it, and yet GenAI was dropped on the entire with no restrictions, no age verification, no checks, no regulation whatsoever?

Lots of people sharing this clip because it's funny and cathartic but I also genuinely believe it's important.

We have to win the narrative battle between "I live in a corrupt society and that's just how it is" and "I live in a corrupt society and we are going to defeat and humiliate these ghouls."
Good morning to Brazilian reporter Manuela Borges, who’s been waiting eleven years for this petty moment. ❤️ 🇧🇷
