"Affordability" is a buzzword being adopted by Dems, but it fundamentally utilizes capitalist framing to analyze socioeconomic issues. It assumes that you SHOULD expect to pay for things, much like "access." Rather, food, housing and healthcare are a RIGHT, regardless of how much money you have.
