It's now been over a month since Trump sent innocent man Andry Hernández to one of the world's worst prisons because of "Mom" and "Dad" tattoos. Like the others, he is being imprisoned with no contact with the outside world.

Don't let him be forgotten.

I want them all unmasked. I want Noem, Homan, and Miller to someday be tried for their crimes against humanity. Ditto for the ICE agents and other officers who abuse innocent tourists, college students, and refugees

When all this is over, I want justice. My column www.inquirer.com/opinion/comm...
When this is over, U.S. rights abusers must be tried for crimes against humanity
Escalating reports of human rights crimes from Kristi Noem's propaganda to ICE cruelty must be wiped clean with justice.

This is a deliberate act to make it harder for millions of women to vote. It's outright suppression.

The ultimate goal of christofascists like Mike Johnson is a "head of household vote" where the husband casts one for his entire family and unmarried women fall under their father's vote.
“In a bold new departure for the forces of voter suppression, MAGA’s ‘SAVE’ Act will make it harder for tens of millions of eligible Americans to vote, including millions of people, mostly women, who change their names after marriage,” Rep. Jamie Raskin.” www.democracydocket.com/news-alerts/...

1. Trump has officially defunded school lunches in Maine for kids and disabled adults because of transgender people.

Trump is holding the funds hostage and will allow kids to go hungry unless Maine discriminates.

reminder if you're going to a protest this weekend: don't post pictures of yourself at the event, change your phone settings to code only (no finger print or face unlock), and bring water for yourself.

wearing a mask is great to protect your health and your identity, while also protecting others.

Two-thirds of both houses of Congress could undo this whenever they want by passing a bill over Trump's veto taking all power to set tariff rates away from him. Tariffs are set by law. The Constitution gives the president no power over tariffs--only our current laws do that.
Tariffs are actually controlled by law. Trump can only raise tariffs because the current law says the president can declare an emergency and change rates. Congress could actually pass a law that repeals **all** presidential discretion on tariff rates.
A pivotal group of Senate Republicans is set to deliver a symbolic rebuke to President Trump's tariffs on Canadian products.

Support from four Republicans would give a Democratic resolution to block Trump's Canadian tariffs enough votes to pass in the Senate if all 47 Democrats also vote in favor.

The Massachusetts governor, the city, and the university needs to drop everything to locate and free this girl and make sure this doesn't happen again.

This is DEFCON-1. If they do this to someone who wrote an op-ed in a college newspaper, they will do this to anyone they don't like.
Video of the international student at Tufts being arrested by "federal authorities" in Massachusetts has been released and it's terrifying.

They're not even uniformed officers. Just secret police thugs in hoodies and masks.
