I'm shocked.
I'm shocked.
I've never, in my life, been represented by a government at any level that comes close to sharing my political beliefs. And you don't see me whining about it...
Ok, you do see me whining about it, constantly, but you don't see news orgs writing about me whining about it.

The Supreme Court of Canada did not recognize that Canada's government has formal legal control over it's occupied territories.
The SCC recognized that Indigenous nations occupied these territories first. The lands weren't transferred on informed consent.
See this thread:
Indigenous nations intended to share the land with settlers. Canada occupied, oppressed, and still oppresses us.
Even the Supreme Court of Canada concedes this. See the Haida or Taku River Tlingit decisions of 2004 for the earliest examples.
Informed consent is required to cede:
- title to land,
- control over land, or
- sovereignty.
That has never happened in Canada.
Even the Supreme Court of Canada refers to Canada's control as limited to factual occupation (de facto).
Not legal control (de jure).

In this case an actual white supremacist just got elected with 39% of the vote because the center to left vote was complete split

- Carney is technocrat who has never held elected office. It's good that he's probably being held to a minority.
- Being deeply unlikeable is bad, electorally.
- The NDP needs to rethink everything and maybe become a left party again.
- Doug Ford will go for the jugular if he can.

It's an actual threat do democracy
The people who take 338's data and scrape it without context remains an issue
