Never forget that after quarantine ended we still managed to kill off a strain of the flu with like half of the country being non-compliant about masking.

I'm sorry we were told vaccines would prevent Covid, and then told that if we 𝗱𝗶𝗱 get Covid, it wouldn't hurt us. Neither of these things are true, unfortunately. I don’t mind wearing my 3M Aura N95 at work & medical settings, but feels too clinical for a concert or art gallery outing. @itsbabs.bsky.social inspired me to make coverups & chains for evening outings that make me feel pretty & still super safe! Chains & charms: Michael’s Crafts, Lace: fabric shop

A family friend was telling us about what her husband shared about his experience in Broadview before he was deported back to Mexico. She's been sharing to friends and family because she's just in disbelief & horror what her husband told her. She wasn't able to talk to him until he was in Mexico.
