Why do people write me a paragraph tell me how much they don't care about a thing I posted?

Isn't taking the time to write a paragraph indicative of some level of caring?

right wing bigots have admitted

- the “trans women in bathrooms” issue

- the “trans women in sports” issue and

- the “trans kids getting surgery” issue

were all MADE UP TO TAKE OUR RIGHTS AWAY

are you paying attention?

the most popular smartphone maker in history literally had to stop using "AI" because it would constantly just make things up and had zero contextual "understanding" of what it was doing

After this Amazon outage today, you can really see the number of services Amazon is running and how that’s a problem. Even my cats’ Litter Robot’s app was affected, 🤨.

My youngest child was born by cesarean. She was given to me while my wife was taken to recovery. That first wee while was just us. It was a precious time.

Damian Gorman captures the feeling perfectly in 'On the night that you were born' - from 'As If I Cared'

I was so excited for some book mail this morning and then both Owlcrate and Waterstones told me they shipped two books (each) and then had only one turn up 😞💔

Owlcrate feels more egregious because I've been watching it go through the US postal system for two weeks 😩

Writing is great. You invent a little guy, you can even make him a nice little guy. And then you shake him as hard as physically possible and give him the worst day of his life. Love it.

I'm waiting for a pre-order from Goldsboro Books, by which I mean the book released on the 9th and they didn't ship it until the 18th (Saturday), and it still hasn't reached Royal Mail 😩

I have a parcel from Owlcrate (in the USA) that's arrived faster. They always do this.

It should be, but we know how award voters feel about horror 🙄

Honestly, it should be given all the music award categories now. I can't think of any other film this year that compares in terms of use of music, song, and performance.

(Watch them now give it to Wicked instead 😅😩)

I've reported to BlueSky but if you follow, they'll immediately DM.

The real Lee Min Jin is at @minjinlee.bsky.social.
