The Deputy leader of this government is telling an outright lie in order to stir up racial hatred and build support for more oppressive laws

This is a dangerous dangerous path we are going down.

Simon Harris has doubled down on comments he made to The Irish Times last month, when he said that a “significant number” of people in homeless accommodation do not have a housing right in Ireland.

1) Govt isn’t doing anything!
2) Why aren’t we all doing something!
3) I personally will not be doing anything.

"Donohue opted to provide the World Bank with €141.4 million on 24 April 2025, even as officials in his department recommended giving significantly less. The World Bank itself recommended that Ireland give €131.4 million."

Holy crap! Your reminder friends that this money he gave away is OUR money.

There are real people, real women, real girls whose images have been edited by grok at the request of users.

This is not some fictionalised, nebulous harm.

That the 'adults in the room' and 'rules-based order' governments are humming and hawwing over taking a firm line on this is extraordinary

Tony, the rules do not exist any more.

Hey they’ll sort out the housing crisis tho!
Fianna Fáil is bracing itself for a delay in delivering its internal review into its approach to the presidential election.

It was set out last month that the party would carry out a review into its chaotic presidential campaign following the shock departure of candidate Jim Gavin

Such a heartbreaking story, felt by so many others around the country. Makes me so angry that the Taoiseach can just say that the HSE isn’t in a position to fulfil the law rtn with regards assessments for children with special needs. As if he isn’t ultimately responsible for that.

"When history judges us, it won’t ask how “agile” we were.

It will ask who we housed, who we fed, who we sheltered, who we lifted up when the lift got stuck.

That’s the only kind of fast that matters."
