So ele-excited to see politicians really beginning to talk more about the damage Brexit has caused. 👏

Brexit the Elephant has been in the Palace of Westminster again this week to see if any British politician is able to see him yet.

“Doo-doo-doo… Come on and do the Conga” he hummed to himself. 🎵 🎶

Brexit the Elephant was wondering whether the new passport machine in Spain would accept his paw print 🐾.

And he was rather hoping that no one would ask him for an animal health certificate.

“Wouldn’t it have been much simpler to have stayed in the EU?”, he pondered.

Brexit the Elephant was having difficulty getting his paw to scan on the new EES machines at the airport.

“I wonder if it likes bananas,” he mused.

“After all, Brexit *is* bananas”, he reasoned, rather proud of his aptitude for logical reasoning.

He wondered if he should apply to read PPE, Modern European Languages, or Banana Horticulture.

Portraying weakening the European Convention on Human Rights as the answer to the issues society faces is extremely dangerous. It opens the door to us one day leaving the ECHR altogether
Labour’s plan risks weakening protections for all of us. Human rights are universal - politicians may not always find them politically convenient but it shouldn’t fall to any government to say who those rights should and should not apply to. It’s a slippery slope to oblivion youtu.be/bl0Lm7v_T18?...

Our season finale is tonight at 11pm on HBO Max/11:12pm on HBO!! And when we’re back in February? It may feel like we’ve been away for years! But keep in mind, that’s mostly because John is aging at an extreme pace. Months read like years on his face. It’s startling. Even to us.

Then they wonder why they have no rights any more - because OF COURSE it wasn't meant to be "My rights." It was just meant to be "You over there with the wrong face? Yes, you? You don't have a right to have rights, so I'm taking them away."

The thing is, everyone has a different "You over there."
