To be clear, I abhor Trump, Hegs, and this whole Reich, but extrajudicial killing is our jam. It’s as American as self-righteousness and blind hypocrisy. I hope we consider this if/when the pendulum swings back. We have zero credibility until we come to terms with our past crimes.

It think this is largely true. Hesitant only on "too late". It will indeed be too late for non-violent solutions only. The difference will the human cost and how long we struggle. Let's Occupy DC now while we might still have sympathy from those ordered to shoot us in the legs.
If people wait to mobilize until after Trump purges military leadership of non-loyalists, it will be too late.
