I feel like iOS’s autocorrect has gotten stupider: frequently suggesting or inserting very uncommon words, like—just now—“anthrax” when I was trying to type “anything”.

I love browsing my local indie bookstore and seeing copies of a niche book I’d ordered from them on their shelves ☺️
I once asked a bookseller at a large indie store how many people would have to buy a book for it to get the attention of the store buyer and cause an additional order and they said: Three.
I see some book piracy discourse, and, to make a positive argument in favor of buying books, your marginal ability to influence what books get published and support the careers of writers you like is massive compared to most other forms of media.

Just saw a fireball over the Niagara area. Bright white, heading directly away from me, so seemed to go straight down.
Unfortunately, it was through a window, so I couldn’t see the beginning or end of it. But, on the amsmeteor site, there are several reports of the same one, which is neat.
