Catastrophic nature loss is at least as serious a problem as climate breakdown, but only gets a fraction of the (woefully inadequate) attention.

THE most critical tasks of our time are:
• Protect what remains of wild ecosystems
• Mass rewilding where damaged or lost

Imagine being someone who speeds a lot, knowing it can and does kill people… kids, parents, anyone.

Imagine hating a public policy (speed cameras) that’s proven to make those people safer— safer from YOU— because your law breaking costs u money, so you rant that it’s a “cash cow.”

So, is that you?
“The Ford Govt in Ontario has passed a controversial omnibus bill banning municipalities from installing speed cameras.

Ford says it will make the province more efficient & reduce red tape.

It won’t do either, and he knows it.

It might get him “speeder votes” though.

This will kill more people.

coffee lowers the pH of water, and...contains organic compounds which rob aquatic systems of oxygen as they decompose. The nutrients...encourage algae growth and may lead to...oxygen depletion in rivers and lakes, which can stress and potentially reduce the lifespan of marine plants and animals.
Should you pour coffee down the drain? An environmental scientist explains
Caffeine has been found in more than 50% of samples of 258 rivers in 104 countries.

We can’t afford to NOT do it.
