Because it’s not getting reported on enough:

Muslim fruit shop owner Ahmed al Ahmed, father of two, was the hero who bravely tackled one of the Bondi Beach shooters and took away his gun.

Very sad that I felt I had no choice but to resign from The Infinite Monkey Cage - a victory for the transphobes and other bigots - I did it because so much of the media has chosen to believe the kind and empathetic people are a fiction - they are real and so often unrepresented.

The problem with being trans is that even allies know nothing about us. Because nobody wants to hear us talk, or read our literature, or let us report on ourselves. Our books are banned, our interviews shelved. Cis people write the entire narrative on us - allies and opponents.

More research showing a thing the GC movement wishes to deny trans people, in this case respecting their name and pronouns, is a thing that improves mental health and could prevent a death by suicide, yet still they persist.
“Transgender and nonbinary youth (ages 13 to 24) whose pronouns are respected were 31 percent less likely to attempt suicide in the past year than those whose pronouns are not respected, according to a new report from The Trevor Project”

Oh she is finding a way huh? I literally pointed out the way minute after the Supreme Court ridiculous ruling.

It is to bring section 14 of the Equality Act into force. Any of her lawyers can draft a reasonably good SI in no time. If she want it perfect, she can even hire me, I bill at £300/hr.
Fucking state of this. Acting like they are completely powerless to do anything since the SC judgement.

Any new way of including people without amending the Equality Act will just be all-new segregation, now with added ‘dignity and respect’.

it's because companies have invested billions into this technology and they need everyone to use it to make a profit.

For a yr, I've been working on a series for The New Atlantis about the vast systems that underlie our lives. Our ancestors built them up over decades to fend off hunger, thirst, darkness and disease. But too few of us know about them—and they're all at risk. The conclusion is now available online:
Why We Are Better Off Than a Century Ago
Our ancestors built grand public systems to conquer hunger, thirst, darkness, and squalor. That progress can be lost if we forget it.
