McMorrow: What Trump has done is weaponize us against each other, when everybody needs hospitals, good schools, and health care.

It has become this battle for scarcity, when we’re the wealthiest country in the world. We should not be fighting each other for our basic needs.

Republicans talk a lot about protecting women...

Yet oppose anything that is even remotely pro-women or pro-family.

It's a sham.

Right now, Republicans in Congress are trying to push through a bill that would put millions of Americans at risk of losing their health care.

They want to cut federal funding for Medicaid, take away tax credits that help more people afford coverage, and raise costs for working class families.

WTF
The Trump administration laid out new requirements for access to updated COVID shots today and will now limit COVID-19 vaccine approval only to adults 65 and older and children and younger adults with at least one high-risk health problem.

Get ready for another surge. apnews.com/article/vacc...

Ashli Babbitt was a domestic terrorist who attempted to overthrow our government via a violent insurrection at our nation’s Capitol. The administration agreeing to pay her family $5 million of taxpayer money is disgraceful.

Republicans just passed a budget that guts Medicaid, SNAP, veterans’ benefits, and free school lunches.

They swore they'd fix the economy—but this sure as hell ain’t it.

Time to pester your senators. Let’s go. If you’re here, you have access to either a phone (to make calls) or a computer (to send emails). Voting needs to be accessible, easy, and simple. Making it harder for ordinary folks is not the way.
SAVE Act just passed House. It is modern-day poll tax that would disenfranchise tens of millions of Americans, end online, mail + voter registration drives & require voters to register in person at election offices, forcing some rural voters to drive 8 hours to register. Total disaster in every way
🚨House voting on SAVE Act today, worst voter suppression bill ever considered by Congress. Could disenfranchise:

-21 million w/out access to citizenship docs
-69 million women who took spouses last name
-ends online + mail registration & voter reg drives

It should be very clear to every Senate Democrat that any vote for Cloture will also be considered a vote for the bill.

People aren’t going to be tricked with procedural games.

They know exactly what is going on.

Defend Medicaid.
Vote NO on Cloture.
NO on bill.

No, we don't need investigations. We don't need Senators posting on social media. We need you to literally grind everything to a halt in the Senate & get in front of microphones on the Capitol steps calling for the fascists to resign & your GOP colleagues to vote with you to impeach & remove them.
It’s alarming that Elon Musk has access to government payment systems used to deliver Social Security and Medicare benefits.

He also drove out the senior career official at Treasury responsible for preventing a potential default on U.S. debt.

Congress must investigate.
Elon Musk’s Team Now Has Full Access to Treasury’s Payments System
Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent gave Mr. Musk’s representatives at the so-called Department of Government Efficiency a powerful tool to monitor and potentially limit government spending.
