My field was Evolutionary Biology. Many of my classmates were queer. Part of why I accepted I was trans so quickly was *because* I had my background in biology. “Biology says you’re A or B!” is so far from the messy reality of bio:

Just came home from hosting our first "Tboy Takeover" of a local queer bar, and over 40 trans guys showed up!!!
Everyone could not stop talking about how amazing it was, and how badly they have been wanting a space like this. I met so many wonderful, kind, interesting people.
