I remember people talking about elective amputation to get the spring loaded, featherweight prosthetic. ( moral hazard 🤣)

And that is the level of stupidity that is needed to think straight boys will gender swap to gain an advantage in girls' athletics.
Remember when they refused to allow Oscar Pistorius to run with able athletes because they suspected that his prosthetic legs gave him an "unfair advantage" ?
(Even if his PB was barely enough to qualify in a Olympics event)
Bills should have never let him leave. Not for his WR skills, but just for the swagger he brought to the lock room.

I think about the NextDoor post that lamented how a beloved local restaurant that had been in the community for decades was going out of business... and how the person loved it because there were never lines and you could always find parking right near the door. 🤔🤔🤔

They voted for Trump due to his “no tax on tips” pledge. Now, with family members deported and health insurance out of reach, they regret their votes. Still, they say they wouldn’t hesitate to give Trump an illegal third term if he promises no taxes on sports betting parlays.

It's almost like the concept of due process requires divided government.
For those who don’t know, sua sponte means the court acted on its own initiative, not at the request of any of the parties, and without notice and a hearing. Which is, ofc, nonsense bc the judge was obviously ordered to do so by the WH/DOJ.

We don't need massive SCOTUS reform in the abstract. Fixed terms, some small things. But the problem isn't the Court. It's the justices. These six people are so bad, such enemies of the Constitution, they must be removed or otherwise disempowered even if it means things I'd generally rather not do.

What skill did you master that you will never, ever use again?

Summer of '95 I had a job assembling single-use film cameras, which I did enough that I can still perform the actions. I don't think they even sell them anymore, but even if they do I'm certainly never going to be making them again!
