One of the things that brings me the greatest despair in authoritarianism is watching people react to state violence the way they react to domestic violence.

The right wing in Portland has hidden behind and been directly aided by the Portland Police Bureau for decades, including the people involved here, so this is just about the funniest turn of events ever.
