Nothing like watching watching the delivery vehicle work its way up the road, see the signal get lost, and then **crickets** 1/8 of a mile from the house. Husband got his box; I did not get mine. Still says it's out for delivery. And I'm sure it is. But probably not tonight.

Ursula is all prairie prairie prairie here but these grasses are indigenous to much of North America and there are so many more native perennial grasses that will ALSO grow these huge root systems! STOP PLANTING INVASIVE EURASIAN GRASSES stop having lawns rewild every inch of your property

Charlotte is turning into Chicago in the course of a day. My husband went to work earlier this afternoon and was informed Hispanic staff were sent home due to an ICE raid around the block in which all the Hispanic employees were rounded up and arrested. Fuck ICE.
A Charlotte pastor said Border Patrol came into his church and made an arrest in front of children. They cried “a lot,” he said.
“We are trying to clean the property. We didn’t know this is gonna happen.”

The uniform tiaras are exceptionally staid and not at all glittery. This is one for an E6. They would frankly need serious revamping to be an enlistment incentive to the kind of person who likes what most people think of when you say "tiara".
Or they should be unisex uniform items.

I thought the photo on the left was fake. It’s real, and the military later claimed that the unit— of “scout snipers”— simply didn’t realize what they were associating with by posing with a Nazi SS flag.
