Took me a whole 60 seconds to remember how to post on here.

Anyway, too many thoughts about this video, don't care about writing them all out for an audience (such as it may be). Because see below video. www.youtube.com/watch?v=FD48...

The ”Women fight for Conrad Veidt” slogan was very real and used to market the formerly German, newly-minted British film star, recently released after being detained by the Nazis

You know I initially tossed it out just because the phrasing is funny, but I actually *do* think there’s something to the argument that AI “artists” see themselves as Philip J. Fry with Sora etc as the Robot Devil’s hands that they’ve lucked into acquiring

In the desert
I saw a creature, naked, bestial,
Who, squatting upon the ground,
Held his heart in his hands,
And ate of it.
I said, “Is it good, friend?”
“It is bitter—bitter,” he answered;

“But I like it
“Because it is bitter,
“And because it is my heart.”

In the Desert Stephen Crane, 1895.

RIP my sweet little old black kitty. He went at home, cradled in my lap and his passing was peaceful and easy.
He was my funniest, most loving & trusting cat.
I miss him so much. #CatsOfBlueSky #Cats

You’ll hear often that censoring porn or separating it out or being stricter on it “is not a Gordian knot” or whatever. Because lots of people believe they know what porn is. And sure some is obvious, but it’s the edges that get tough.

Some think queer people are porn. Some think sex ed is porn.

I hate seeing any mildy impressive video right now and wondering if it’s AI. This is a huge problem. My ability to simply just enjoy visuals without getting suspicious has been utterly destroyed.

Even cute animal videos are AI. I’m like why the F would anyone toy with people’s hearts like that. 😫😫

FROM THE MANGER TO THE CROSS was shot in location in Egypt and Palestine. It was written by Gene Gauntier, who also played the Virgin Mary, and possibly co-directed.

The role of women in getting epics onto the American screen has been erased, so let's elevate them again.

Helen Gardiner in CLEOPATRA (1912), which she produced through her own company, starred in and served as costumer. It was one of the very first American narrative features and, along with FROM THE MANGER TO THE CROSS, one of the first American epics.

Canada made weird tv shows because it was all being done with government funded art grant money so they fell in this wacky middle ground between “shoestring budget” and “no expectation to generate shareholder value” which is really the best way to make art

I would force a lot of directors to make Phantom of the Opera adaptations. At least two of the ones I want are dead, but my enslaved army of scientists will make quick work of that little hiccup. Or else.
If you were a despotic president, what movie would you force Hollywood to make? I want to see Quentin's Star Trek movie or maybe Kill Bill Vol 3.

Every AI data centre on earth should be hollowed out and sold for scrap, and everyone who pilfered these photos should be forced to live underground.
This is a nuts story. An AI chatbot and image platform left millions of images exposed. They show what people are actually using the AI for: taking random women's yearbook, graduation, and social media photos and making super realistic hardcore porn with them
