I do love how physical traditional cloning is. Actually cutting DNA out of gels and stitching them together feels so much more real than the more automated stuff I do these days. Working with my hands brings me such peace.

5 days ago I ordered the 10” filters from this website, + fan & tape. They arrived today. In <45 min, I made a mini CR box for our bedroom. Here it is shown next to our original full-size 20” CR box. We’ve found they help keep family members healthy when others in the house are sick.

a lot of Native American foods diffused into the North American cultures so completely most people don’t recognize it: tamales, grits, Johnnie cakes, cornbread, wild rice, most beans, maple syrup, tomato based BBQ, succotash, pumpkin and squash, the clam bake and seafood boils.
