The rules of the internet clearly state that when you see Tom Holland's Umbrella, you're required to share it.
It's been 8 years since the iconic moment Tom Holland lip-synced "Umbrella" by Rihanna for Zendaya. 🎥

Like the Super Bowl mid-game spectaculars, the 2026 final game slated to take place at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey will include the World Cup's very first halftime show.

I agree. At some point, you do start to wonder if this is part of the problem
I’m genuinely beginning to think the Chelsea board just don’t like Maresca playing players that are over the age of 23.

don't use biometrics on any device that, if it fails, could lead to you or someone else being killed or injured
"In one incident, a 5-year-old child from Michigan required surgery after he was injured by a self-inflicted gunshot after using the biometric feature to access a firearm from a Stack-On safe."

My favorite games are the Soulsborne games, and it says a lot that they iterated by getting rid of all the stupid inventory obstructions. "Bloodborne" doesn't even have item weight, it whips!
he gets to inventory management in a second

my perhaps most controversial video game opinion is that either your character has a call of duty type inventory--a primary weeapon, a secondary, a heavy, some grenades or whatever--or there should be no limits at all. life's too short for other "realism"
Started Fallout 4 again over weekend and remembered why I bailed before. Lockpicking! For whatever reason that’s the video game task that makes me think “wait, I’m going to be dead one day, this is no way to spend my life.”

Naomi Watts’s tribute to Lynch is just gutting. “How did he even "see me" when I was so well hidden, and I'd even lost sight of myself?!”

Saw someone upbraiding someone else for having a hobby while the world is on fire, and, my friends:

1. The world is ever on fire, this is today's conflagration;

2. If you don't find time for rest and joy the fire will consume you;

3. Don't let people shame you for being an entire human.

This response from @sbearbergman.bsky.social to @hildur.bsky.social’s post has changed my week— it is so wholesome, and human, and so the energy we all need right now. And Kerstin Langenberger, the naturalist who posted “I am on my way with the necessary equipment”? This woman is the hero we need.

Remember the Phishing site trying to lure people by pretending to be a free tool a Japanese developer created?

The thief who made it would like you to pay him to use the tool. Exact same name. Bsky handle too.

I know it’s supposed to be the time of new seasons and new comment, but I was thinking about my mom today and felt the need to retell a story lost with Twitter.

This is the story of how I was nearly raised in a gas station.

You know what’s good about Bluesky? It works the way you would expect. You see stuff from people you follow. Nothing else. Blocking removes people from your experience. Nobody is nudging you toward irritation or combat. It’s just voluntarily chatting with people.

"There are no extensions in the real world." My brother in Christ, have you ever met a litigator? We give and get extensions like they're candy. Hell, back in July when I realized my anniversary was two days away and I had no plans my immediate thought was to see if I could get an extra week.
I was excited to read a WaPo opinion piece by Mark C. Taylor, who teaches philosophy of religion at Columbia, but was disappointed when it turned out to be merely the bellyaching of an old guy

the gradual replacement of “exchanging money for goods” with “exchanging money for a license to use goods as a service” has been one low key one of the worst changes of the 21st century
this is exactly why i still buy discs in 2023. it's crazy to think that we are reaching a point where piracy will be the only option to own media once dvds and blu-rays are gone.
