The Trump administration can't be allowed to punish arts organizations that uplift trans and queer experiences.

We celebrate this win, not just for our clients but for all of our First Amendment rights.
Court sides with ACLU and queer performers over federal trans funding restrictions
As in many authoritarian campaigns, art has been recognized as a vital form of resistance — but bad actors have sought to curtail it accordingly.

I sat down with Bernie in Astoria to talk about the lessons he learned—and the work ahead.

Our Chief Political and Advocacy Officer Deirdre Schifeling said it best: "The Trump administration’s goal was to scare people, to make them afraid to stand up for their rights and afraid to protest and stand up for their immigrant neighbors. And it’s backfired spectacularly."

There's a lot going on, God knows, but don't miss that the President of the United States is using the full force of the Federal government, as well as tax dollars, to punish a state because its Governor... refused to do as he instructed.

It is perfectly legal to know your rights and to educate others about them, too.

EVERYONE in the United States, citizen or not, has rights. I will not allow this administration to intimidate us from helping you know about them.

Yes, this administration is dangerous and cruel, but they are also shockingly dim and incompetent.

Opportunities are everywhere.

Make everything as hard as possible. Resist every demand. Refuse entry without a warrant. Don’t take the buyout. Their problem solving skills are 📉

I think it’s really important we identify the companies that are doing the right thing and reward them with our business.

The attempt to force Costco to audit their #DEI work was by an anti-inclusion lobby group:

We shouldn’t accept that a CEO killer must get a national manhunt when cops don’t solve most murders at all. A migrant teenager was just murdered in NYC, cops just killed a guy here — the lives of these other people are worth just as much as that CEO.
