Today is Trans Day of Remembrance, when we pause to mourn the violent deaths of our siblings; hold accountable the transphobic cultures and systems that have perpetuated them; and look towards a day when our community's central event won't need to be defined by loss.

A really good thing to do with social media—especially if you have CPTSD—is to start paying attention to how social media triggers you. Just watch it happening, you don't have to do anything about it yet. But once you start to see this, a lot of things can change.

Being involved more with IRL community, means people I remember and mourn on this day are predominantly not white. Black trans mascs, fems and NBs are the ones who go "missing" forever the most here, one moment a face and voice I knew another a face on an ever-packed bulletin 1/2
